About this course
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage is a substantial vocational qualification that prepares you for a career as a beauty (Swedish massage) therapist. Designed for learners aged 16 or over, it covers all the skills and knowledge required for the role. Entry can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview. Units cover providing body massage, health and safety, anatomy and physiology, and client care. You will develop the technical skill to provide relaxing treatments using classical Swedish massage movements, alongside the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients. On completion you will be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance, working in commercial salons, day and destination spas, or independent and mobile settings.
