The Qualifi Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetics Practice gives learners the knowledge and skills to carry out advanced beauty therapy and aesthetic procedures, and the essential underpinning knowledge to work commercially as a practitioner. It develops the occupational skills and competencies to progress directly into employment or on to further study in the advanced beauty therapy and aesthetics field. The four mandatory units develop your ability to apply essential health, safety and hygiene measures, conduct a concise client consultation, and rejuvenate the skin using automated and hand-held microneedling and superficial chemical peels to reduce or remove skin imperfections and mild pigmentary conditions.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and have achieved a Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy, or equivalent qualifications and/or substantial industry experience. The aesthetic practitioner must hold a First Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent) and be able to carry out basic life support (SFHCHS36).
